Idea Quest offers an exciting opportunity for GVSU Lakers from ALL MAJORS
to turn their ideas into real-world solutions. Whether you're studying engineering, business, healthcare,
or the arts, this competition challenges you to identify problems and propose solutions that can make a difference.
You’ll gain valuable skills that set you apart in your career as you compete, collaborate, and innovate with peers hailing
from various disciplines within GVSU. Showcase your creativity and problem-solving abilities in front of faculty,
mentors, and the community. Each college will award a $500 College Champion Award, and the top ideas will compete for
up to $3,000 in prizes. This is your chance to solve problems, make an impact, and drive innovation at GVSU—don’t miss it!
Start the quest by submitting a video 2 minutes or less with a 5 slide powerpoint explaining a problem you’ve noticed and give your IDEA of a solution. The top 7 ideas will be selected from the total pool of submissions.
SUBMISSIONS ARE DUE JANUARY 30, 2026 Top 7 Questers will be announced February 23, 2026 In the final part of the quest, the Top 7 Questers will put together a 5 minute Shark Tank-style pitch which will include slides and end with a short Q&A THE FINAL PITCH IS ON March 26, 2026Welcome to 77 Idea Quest
