Please read all instructions carefully. You will need to sign up with Judgify to submit your Big Idea, creating a username and password. This is not the same as your CUE member account. This submission form allows you to save your submission as you go so take your time but note the deadline below!

We are looking for educational innovators like LeRoy Finkel! The Awards Committee will select four finalists from among this year's applicants to present their Big Ideas on stage at CUE's Spring 2019 Conference before a panel of edu-experts. On stage, each Finalist will present for 5 minutes on an even bigger version of their idea.

The Fellow will receive $2,000 and will be given a mentor, provided registration and travel to the 2019 ISTE Conference in Philadelphia, and invited to write about their idea and be featured in our OnCUE publication. The three finalists will each receive $1,000 to implement their idea and will be invited to be featured in our OnCUE publication.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE WRITTEN APPLICATION:

Think about how your Big Idea is educationally impactful in your classroom or region. If you advance to the final round, you may be asked for more detail about how your Big Idea is something that could impact classrooms beyond your own.
Create your detailed Big Idea budget, not to exceed $1,000. A sample budget can be found here.

Fine Print...

All Finalist and Fellowship Awards are subject to appropriate federal & state taxes. CUE does not cover travel or other expenses (other than event registration) of finalists to attend the Spring Conference. Your budget should account for applicable state and federal taxes that may apply.

We STRONGLY recommend booking your hotel and other travel plans EARLY, as many hotels in our housing block have already sold out.

By submitting your Big Idea, you agree to attend the CUE 2019 Spring Conference in March 2019 in Palm Springs California. CUE will provide complimentary registration, but will not cover travel or any other associated expenses. While at the Spring Conference, you need to be available to present as part of "LeRoy's Big Idea: The Finalists" (time and date TBD).
