QMEA Ambassador Program 2025
The QMEA is offering up to twenty positions in the 2025 QMEA Student Ambassador Program to students completing Year 12 in 2025. Students selected as 2025 QMEA Student Ambassadors will participate in a number of activities across a twelve month period that will increase their understanding of the resources sector, provide unparalleled opportunities for networking with other students and industry representatives and develop leadership skills. Ambassador applicants should demonstrate how they are considering a career path into the resources sector after school, through further study or a trade pathway.
Mandatory Selection Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
1. Be enrolled full-time in a QMEA school and intend to complete Year 12 in 2025
2. Be an Australian resident
3. Complete this Judgify form, including uploading relevant documentation
4. Be willing to act as a QMEA ambassador for a twelve month period and be available to attend the QMEA Ambassador Camp from Sunday 24 November - Thursday 28 November 2024

QRC/WIMARQ Exceptional Female QMEA Student of the Year Award 2025
The QRC/WIMARQ Resources Awards for Women acknowledges and promotes the contribution and achievements of women in the minerals and energy sectors, while advocating the industry as a career choice for women.
Once again, there is an Exceptional Female QMEA Student award, for female students in Year 12 during 2025 at a QMEA school.
The winning student will be recognised for their achievements at the QRC/WIMARQ International Women’s Day Breakfast where they will be presented with a certificate and trophy.
Female students applying for the Ambassador Program can also apply for the Exceptional Female QMEA Student of the Year Award through this application process. Students will be shortlisted and the award will be presented at the annual QRC/WIMARQ International Women’s Day Breakfast in March 2025.
Application Process
Students wishing to apply for the Ambassasdor Program only, please complete the application form, but do not answer the final 3 questions on this application.
Students wishing to apply for the Exceptional QMEA Female Student award, please provide a response for all sections of this application form.
Students wishing to apply for both the Ambassador Program and the Exceptional QMEA Female Student award, please complete all sections in the application.
