The App Growth Awards are the annual barometer for the global app marketing and growth ecosystem. They have been set up by the organisers of the App Promotion Summits to continue to facilitate and celebrate progress.

2019 Awards Categories:

Best App Advertising Platform

This award is open for entries from mobile advertising platforms, networks or DSPs that have delivered an outstanding solution in terms of app installs, user acquisition and brand advertising in the last 12 months.

Best Analytics Platform

This award is open for entries from mobile analytics, app analytics, ad tracking and attribution platforms that have delivered the most value and understanding of big data analytics to app marketing and growth professionals in the past 12 months.

Best App Engagement Platform

This award is open for entries from engagement platforms and services that have proven successful at reviving inactive and churned users to sustain higher levels of engagement via push notifications, personalisation and other engagement measures for clients over the past 12 months.

Best ASO Company

This award is open for entries from platforms and agencies offering ASO services that can demonstrate they are leaders in the ASO field and experts at getting apps in front of potential users.

App Growth Innovation

This award is open for entries from any brand, agency, service provider or developer that has created new and innovative channels, techniques, tactics or strategies to increase growth in the app ecosystem. If you are doing something new, innovative and amazing, we want to know about it!

Fastest Growing App 2019

Awarded to an app that has demonstrated rapid growth and traction in the last year. Evidence must show significant growth in one of these areas: usage, downloads, revenues and general awesomeness.

Best App Video

This award is open for entries from anyone who is a master at video for apps. Video is becoming increasing important and this award will recognise the best use of it as part of an app marketing campaign either in an app preview or ad creative.

New App Launch Campaign

This award is open for entries from App Developers or Agencies for any app launched during 2019. You must demonstrate significant initial traction or growth since launch with details of the channels by which you achieved this.

Best Paid User Acquisition Campaign

This award is open for entries from Agencies & App Publishers for the best paid user acquisition campaign of 2019 for an app. The entry must demonstrate that the campaign successfully acquired new users by implementing innovative and/or traditional acquisition techniques via any paid channel e.g. Facebook, Google UAC, Apple Search Ads. This can be a single channel or cross-promotion campaign.

Social & Influencer App Campaign

This award is open for entries from publishers or agencies who can demonstrate outstanding results in the emerging field of social and influencer marketing for apps. Entries will need to illustrate how they have been successful in utilising social media and ‘power’ individuals to make their app marketing successful.

Best Retention Campaign

This award is open for entries from agencies and publishers that highlight a campaign which has delivered an improvement in engagement and retention for an app. The entry must demonstrate the techniques involved such as product changes, implementing a growth strategy, as well as the use of retargeting or other engagement channels.

App Marketing Agency of the Year

This award is open for entries from all mobile and app marketing and non-specialist agencies that can illustrate outstanding offerings in the area of mobile growth and app marketing. Beers on the boss if you win.

Growth Team of the Year

This award is open for entries from app developers and agencies who have a team of rock stars dedicating their time to user acquisition, growth and marketing – and doing it exceptionally well!

App Marketer of the Year

Don’t be shy…tell us who has been an amazing App Marketer in 2019.

This award is for an individual who has demonstrated outstanding best practices for marketing and growth at an app brand, startup or agency. Marketers can enter directly, and we also accept nominations of outstanding individuals from colleagues / friends /clients.

Influencer Marketing Company of the Year

This award is open for entries from all influencer marketing agencies and platforms that can illustrate outstanding achievement in the area of mobile growth and app marketing by successfully developing and executing influencer marketing campaigns.

Outstanding Contribution to the App Industry

Who deserves a plaque in the App Industry Hall of Fame? This award will be presented to an individual who has demonstrably contributed to the health of the app ecosystem over a number of years. Nominate yourself, a friend, your boss or someone whose contribution you feel needs to be formally recognised. All nominees will be put forward to our panel of expert judges.
