The Coller Startup Competition began in 2017 for teams formed by Tel Aviv University students or alumni. The competition's goal is to encourage TAU students and alumni to engage in entrepreneurial venturing and launch great startups.
THE COMPETITION HAS 3 SEPARATE TRACKS
Deep TechOpen for teams with at least one co-founder who is a graduate or current student of Tel Aviv University.
Animal-Free TechOpen to all startup companies in Israel.
Climate TechOpen for teams with at least one co-founder who is a graduate or current student of Tel Aviv University.
We welcome diverse teams from across faculties and disciplines, but several guidelines and limitations apply.

+ Pitch Presentation
+ Proof of a Working Demo or MVP of your Product
+ Short Bio (or CV) of each Founder

First evaluation:
Verifying application eligibility.
Second evaluation:
Evaluate all application files by a carefully selected team of judges. Evaluation is based on the following criteria: Quality of the Team, Opportunity and Market Size, Unique Value Proposition, Business Model (and ability to scale), Innovation/Technology Quality, and Presentation Skills.
The Semi-final evaluation.
Leading ventures will be invited to present live to a panel of judges.
Workshops.
Ignite Now- acceleration workshops. Dates TBD
Individual & Group Sessions. Dates TBD
Competition finals. July 8, 2026
Top teams will be invited to present their venture on the Startup Exhibition, followed by live pitching on stage - from which the winning team in each track will be announced
