The annual Gosford Art Prize has been a feature of the Gosford Regional Gallery’s exhibition program for the past 25 years, and a cultural highlight on the Central Coast since the early 1970’s.

Open to practicing artists across Australia working in any medium, the major acquisitive prize presents the winner with a $25,000 prize and the winning artwork enters the Central Coast Council Art Collection. Other awards include the First Nations Artist Prize $10,000, Gosford Ceramics Prize $10,000, and the inaugural Moving Image Art Award $10,000. A Highly Commended prize and a Viewer’s Choice Award complete the prize pool of over $55,000 to be won.
