Welcome to the William Buck Impact Awards nomination for 2025
The William Buck Impact Awards is a not-for-profit, industry-led program that recognises, celebrates and assists companies who are making an impact for the good of South Australia.

Key eligibility criteria:
- Nominations close Sunday 1 June 2025 at 11:59pm
- South Australian head office (Legal Entity)
- Minimum 3 years of trading history
- Previous finalists are welcome to re-apply
- Past winners are not eligible to re-apply
- To ensure consistency and fairness, our judges cannot judge incomplete applications
Key "impact" criteria our judges are looking for:
Demonstrated track record of growth and plans that project your future impacts in the following areas:
- Revenue
- Employment (South Australia, Australia and globally)
- Demonstrated national or global competitiveness or export growth
By nominating for the 2025 Impact Awards, you will automatically be considered not only for the primary Impact Award recognising overall exceptional business performance, but also for two exciting new categories:
- The Dark Horse Award — recognising a company with outstanding future potential that is not yet widely known.
- The Innovation Award — recognising a company demonstrating exceptional creativity, disruption and forward-thinking.
About your nomination
The questionnaire is an opportunity for our judges to understand more about your company, your success, your ambition and your capability to globalise. The Impact Awards mission is to help South Australian companies such as yours to become a greater global success story. It is important for South Australia’s prosperity to have ambitious competitive companies, taking on the world and winning.
The information we request from you is the "evidence" that your company meets the Impact Awards objectives and is worthy of being short-listed for judging (this is a competitive process with only the best companies being shortlisted).
The information you provide will enable our Impact Awards Judges to make an informed decision about your business's impact in comparison to the many companies that will apply. Our Judges take this process of assessing the applications very seriously as the Impact Awards winner/s will gain access to Judges' business networks, experience and passion to help you take things further.
If your company is selected as a potential finalist on the basis of the nomination information you submit here, the Judges also require a face-to-face visit to interview key stakeholders and to assess your organisation more fully. This process will require the secure sharing of evidence to support your application. Judging will take place between 21 July and 15 August 2025.
IMPORTANT: Please allow from 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete the application. You will need your current business plan and financials for the last 4 years (if trading for more than 3 years) at hand in order to complete the application. If you are unable to complete your nomination in one sitting you can save and return to your application to complete it at a later stage.
